Ludovico Amen, also known by his creative alias Amen Tigalle, is an Italian film director based in Milan, Italy.
With a career that spans over a decade, Ludovico’s journey in visual storytelling began in 2009 when he and collaborator Sami Schinaia ventured into the music industry as filmmakers.
Their creative synergy and passion for visual arts quickly evolved, and by the end of 2014, they committed fully to directing, focusing on advertising under the moniker SÄMEN. Their unique style caught the attention of the international production company STINK FILMS, with whom they signed a global partnership.
Ludovico and Sami’s collaboration thrived for several years, producing award-winning commercials for world-renowned brands such as Nike, BMW, Lamborghini, Vodafone, Yamaha, and Greenpeace.
Their work often featured iconic personalities, including Usain Bolt and Paralympic champion Bebe Vio, which further cemented their reputation in the industry.
The duo’s projects have been backed by some of the world’s leading advertising agencies, including Droga5, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, and Ogilvy Frankfurt, to name a few.
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ludovico and Sami amicably parted ways to pursue individual artistic paths. This period of transition allowed Ludovico to reinvent his storytelling approach, embracing a deeper exploration of his personal style.
His renewed focus on visual narrative has led to a body of work that is both emotionally resonant and visually striking, reflecting his evolving voice as a director.
